Last week I attended the Canadian Special Events Expo and I’ve compiled some of my inspirations from it here. My last post focused on the interactive elements you can bring to your event/wedding and this post will be focusing on some decor elements. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
I was drawn to a beautiful floral display and it was none other than Decor & More. They were the ones who did the decor for the charity gala I coordinated last fall. They do a great job at bringing the wow factor to an event!
I stumbled upon an exhibit with wedding invitations so I took a closer look. I met Helen, the designer behind Paper Impressions, a company that specializes in luxury invitations. If you are looking for foil-pressed, embossing and one-of-a-kind pieces, this is a great place to go. I love the embossed flourishes here!
There was a wedding portion of the expo as well, so of course I see Jane Dayus-Hinch from WeddingSOS. She’s my idol! I would love her to coordinate my wedding one day =)
In their tabletop challenge, you could see a lot of great trends. Here you can see the use of a low centerpiece. What a great look!
I love the colour palette here! I especially love the textures used.
Here is a grand decor setup from Creations by Gitta. How would you like to have this at your wedding?
This was a really unique company I came across. Vintage Vignettes specialize in event and prop rentals that are vintage, how cool! They do a lot of photo shoots but can also provide rentals for events of up to 200 people. I like how every place setting is different here. It’s got a lot of character!
