A small sampling of events that I’ve helped coordinate: Event Venue: SPiN Toronto Birthdays are a great excuse to get friends out to have a good time, and why not do some meaningful fundraising while you’re at it? Guests enjoyed free-for-fall ping pong and live music, with a chance to win some fab prizes along the way. The night ended with the 2012 Juno nominated band, Sky Terminal, rocking the house! Event Venue: Psalms 91:1 Accessories Studio A joint effort by three awesome ladies, this Valentines day event brought together music, sweets and jewellery while raising funds for charity. Who could resist the design-your-own-cupcake station? Event Venue: Design Exchange The annual DX Gala brings in an eclectic mix of designers and donors in the city looking for a great party. The theme “Feel This” was apparent in all the various party rooms, from the furry pillows in the lounge to the live mannequins. Floral carnation ball centerpieces and textured linens made a statement at the VIP dinner. Event Venue: Richmond Hill Christian Community Church An annual student conference with over 1,000 high school attendees, 9 volunteer sub-committee teams and over 250 volunteers, held over four days. This event was never short of energy and passion! In collaboration with: Seneca College Event Management Program A slew of random events that I have volunteered at over the years.
