On February 18, 2018, we held the first of three Wedding Academy events at Shangri-La Hotel Toronto. We hosted this fun and interactive event to share wedding planning tips from top industry professionals in a private setting. It was so much fun and so so beautiful! See some of the highlights of the event below. Details at http://www.wedacademy.ca. Photos by L’Atelier Lumiere.
The Social Rose created a beautiful installation that was reminiscent of spring with pink peonies and lush roses. This spring wedding inspiration set the stage for our speakers.
So Pretty In Print created the stationary for the day, matching with our flowers perfectly.
Lady Be Good serenaded the room. They are always so good!
Wedding Academy is hosted by Garrison Bespoke. Thank you for being the masterminds behind such a great event!
The Social Rose gave away cute bundles of flowers to all guests.
Sweets from Fine Cakes By Zehra were a huge hit (of course!).
It was a packed room!
I emcee’d the event and had so much fun!
Jen Evoy from Jen Evoy Makeup Studio shared her best tips for looking your best on the wedding day.
Danny from DJ Floh Back Productions shared his top 5 tips for packing the dance floor on the wedding day (because who doesn’t want that?).
Lastly, a wedding planner panel with Devoted To You, Truly Yours Planning and Bliss Events (and me!) shared mistakes to avoid when planning for your big day.
Guests had a chance to mingle with all our industry experts after the talks.
Me with the wedding planning boss babes!
I absolutely LOVED my outfit from Narces.
The lovely people who helped put the event together!
