To kick off the new year, I am offering a one-day intensive workshop for budding wedding planners (that’s you!). It will be focused on the business of weddings and growing as a professional.
I developed this workshop after hearing from so many up-and-coming wedding planners asking the same questions and sharing the same concerns on growing their practice. This is a unique opportunity exclusively for wedding planners to learn from my years of personal and business experience, ask questions specific to their needs, and learn how to bring their inspirations to life.
I’m honoured to have some of the best vendors in the industry join me in this fun, informative and interactive workshop.

Why I created this workshop
My background was in graphic design and non-profit events. I started planning weddings as a side gig when all my friends started getting married eons ago. It was a fun side hustle, but I never thought I’d be able to work it full-time (How do I make enough money to survive? What would my schedule look like? How do I manage my time?). But over the years, my side business of wedding planning grew and grew, and, at one point, it got so busy that I had to quit my day job and focus on weddings alone.
Nearly a decade later, I have a team of planners working with me and I take over 50 weddings a year as a company.
In this process of side hustle to full blown business, I have developed my strategies, my service offerings and my brand. It has been a rollercoaster ride! When I started out, I had no one to mentor me and being a wedding planner was a fairly new concept. I wish I had a workshop like this to help me get kickstarted!
The wedding landscape is very different now. The wedding planning space is becoming increasingly saturated and new entrants to the market often don’t know where to start or don’t know when to take that initial leap. I’ve been there. This workshop will tackle all the frequent challenges and hard decisions that all planners must face.
This is why I put together this workshop.
This one-day intensive workshop will not be just motivational talk and fluffy ideas. It will be no non-sense, practical insight that you can implement in your business immediately.
This will be a small, private experience held in Toronto, where you will learn and hear from me directly. And this is the first time I am offering a workshop of this kind.
Is this for me?
To keep this experience intimate and focused, there are some basic requirements:
- You are a wedding planner (duh!).
This workshop is especially for a wedding planner just getting their feet wet, or a wedding planner with a couple years under their belt. The focus will be to teach you practical skills you can put use right away. If you are just getting started, you will learn practical tips on building a good foundation.
- You are ready to invest in yourself and the success of your business.
This is a premium experience designed for planners who want to take their business to the next level. You will learn from my (and our expert’s) best practices garnered. Learn from the mistakes we have made, so you don’t have to make them.
- You need to act quickly.
This workshop will only be offered once this year in a small group format and you will have to act quickly if you want to join. I’d love to see you there!
