The Toronto Star newspaper asked me to design a set that was inspired by Chinese New Year, the biggest holiday of the Chinese culture. I designed this Chinese New Year inspired dinner party as a refined and elegant translation of the affair. The striking red and gold hues are balanced by texture and unique fruit accents. The custom calligraphy menu and place card gave it a personal feel. And no party is complete without a fancy sweets table. I couldn’t help dressing me and my dog up for the occasion too!
